Dr. Angie Amarillas is running to improve the Goodyear community, a place she calls home. Her journey is deeply rooted in her personal experiences. As a single mom of four children for many years who worked three jobs to provide for her children, she knows the challenges faced by many in our community. This experience fueled her passion to give back to the very community that gave so much to her. Angie envisions Goodyear as a safe place for all, connecting with business owners to boost the local economy, creating a city where seniors can age in place, ensuring quality schools and neighborhoods, and providing good roads for safe travel. ​

Goodyear is a growing city and it is essential that we provide quality neighborhoods for everyone. I will work to ensure our neighborhoods are safe for children and young families, while also advocating for programs so our seniors can age in place.

Let's ensure our roads are safe to travel on. Angie will work to improve the safety of transportation in Goodyear and work to find ways to reduce traffic congestion. 

Strengthen Our Economy 

Angie will work to implement policies that attract businesses to move to Goodyear while also empowering small and large businesses with resources to thrive.
